Ontario Public Library Week– October 15-21
October is Canadian Library Month! During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians’ lives. In Ontario, we celebrate our public libraries. Look for library outreach in your community all this month!

Teen Read Week – October 8-14
Calling all teens! Pick up your Teen Bingo card at your nearest Library branch and let us know what you are reading on FB, Twitter and Instagram! For every row you complete on the Bingo card, you will be entered into a draw for an iTunes gift card.

Write @ Your Library Teen Creative Writing Contest – Last Call!
This annual Grey and Bruce County libraries contest ends this month. Submissions can be entered until October 13.  Short stories and poems can be entered into Junior (grades 7-9) and Senior (grades 10-12) categories.  Contact your local library branch for more information.

Museum Explorer Pass is now available with your Library Card! The pass is part of the catalogue at each Bruce County Library branch.  It can be used by an individual or a family and is good for one full week and allows the holder to access the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton.

Make that stack of home movies you’ve been meaning to digitize this fall’s project! The Conversion Station located at Port Elgin Branch Library allows you to convert your VHS, vinyl records and slides to digital. Please call 519-832-2201 to book a time.
