Pajama Bedtime Stories – July 12th and August 2nd: 6:45 pm (please note: No bedtime stories on May 2) Join us for this fun preschool program where we will help you build early literacy skills with your child by reading, talking, singing and playing together. Check out books by great Canadian authors, track your daily reading, receive stickers, and enter for weekly prize draws and a grand prize draw at the end of the summer. Play with you friends, make new friends, play against the library staff…or all 3! Different game each Friday all summer!

Museum Explorer Pass is available with your Library Card! The pass is part of the catalogue at each Bruce County Library branch. It can be used by an individual or a family and is good for one full week and allows the holder to access the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton.

Adult Book Club Meeting – Last Tuesday of the month. Book Club is on hiatus during July and August. The title for September’s discussion will be available late August. Join in for some lively conversation about the book we are reading. Copies of the club’s current title are available at the circulation desk. Read a great book lately? Write @ Your Library Teen Creative Writing Contest – This annual Grey and Bruce County libraries contest begins this summer and submissions can be entered until October 13. Short stories and poems can be entered into Junior (grades 7-9) and Senior (grades 10-12) categories. Contact your local library branch for more information.

All programs are FREE unless otherwise noted. Donations to your library are gratefully accepted. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult while in the library. Children under the age of 5 attending programs may be supervised by the library staff only during the scheduled time of the program; their caregivers must always remain in the library building.
