Slither.io is a famous game where players have to play as small snakes, eat resources, grow up, and eliminate other snakes. It is a fun game that was first created especially for Internet browsers. Later, developers decided to created Slither.io for iOS and Android devices. The game is safe to play for kids. You can select various skins of your snake in order to diversify the gameplay. It should be mentioned that there are two game modes in Slither.io. Users can download Slither.io for free.

How to Play Slither.io?

After you start the game, you are able to write your nickname in the required field. Please note that you can write your nickname only with Latin script. You can also tap the “Change Skin” button. It is located at the bottom left side of your screen. There you are able to select among the great number of skins. However, players can also tap the “Build a Slither” button in order to create their own skin. 

As it was mentioned, there are only two game modes. The first one is called “Play Online”. It allows you to play with other players. The second mode is a single-player mode. There you should perform the same actions as in the first mode, but you will be playing against AI (artificial intelligence). 

Developers also provided players with a few game options. You can select the way you want to control your snake. Go to the “Settings” options. It is located at the top right corner. There you can select the “Arrow mode”. It allows you to control your snake by placing your finger anywhere on the screen. The “Finger Mode” makes the snake follow your finger. So if you select this mode, you will have to swipe with your finger all over your screen. The last option is called “Joystick mode”. With its help, you will be able to control the snake by swiping with your finger in a particular area on your screen.

Slither.io Gameplay

Slither.io has no plot. After you start the game, you will be playing as a small snake. Your mission is to eat small shining dots. They help you to grow the snake. You can also speed-up by holding the related button. It should be mentioned that you will lose some resources while using speed-up functions. You have to feed your snake and eliminate others. In order to eliminate another snake, it has to crash into you. You can perform various moves in order to confuse your opponent. After you eliminate the enemy snake, it will drop a lot of resources. Expect that you will see some ads while playing the game.
