Crafting Dead: Pocket Edition

Crafting Dead is one of the most popular multiplayer survival games on Steam, released in August 2017. Initially, it was available to only play on Microsoft Windows and macOS X. But later, Alda Games launched Crafting Dead: Pocket Edition for playing the iconic game on your Android device. 

Could you survive in Zombie Apocalypse?

Crafting Dead, as well as the Pocket Edition version, describes the story set in a Zombie Apocalypse. You will find yourself in a world full of dangerous zombies, scarcity of cures, and resources. But, despite these ugly conditions, you still need to survive. How? First of all, be sure that you customize your character with various types of weapons the game has. You cannot predict what you will need in the next battle in advance. So, our recommendation is to collect all the collectibles. Besides ammo, you need to look for the cure, craft special items, and so on. 

If you carefully read the previous paragraph, then you most likely noticed some similarities with Minecraft. And it didn’t seem to you. Initially, Crafting Dead was one of the survival singleplayer Minecraft’s mods. After the 6 months, the developers made the mod multiplayer with a custom server. All three years the development was only Minecraft-based. But the mode was becoming more and more popular, so user requests to add new content increased. And, as you probably know, Minecraft has certain limits. There was the time the developers decided to create a standalone game. 

Two modes — two games

As Minecraft, Crafting Dead: PE has a couple of modes. But compared to a parent game, there are more than two times less. Crafting Dead has survival and creative regimes. Let’s explore the features of the first. In a survival mode, all the resources are in the limit. Moreover, you always need to fight against bloodthirsty zombies and defeat your crafts. To survive, you can build a house or even a castle, hunt animals, and so on. These actions will help you survive in the huge zombies’ waves that come every seven days.

Creative mode provides you with no limit to all the opportunities and resources. You can build whatever you want without any restrictions, gather the materials, and crafting elements. Do not worry about the huge waves of zombies here! To tell the truth, this mode is a great way to prepare yourself to the Survival mode, explore the maps, and focus on building. You can boldly start your entrance to this game from Creative mode.
