Geometry Dash is a fun game that was created in 2013. At first, it was released especially for iOS and Android platforms, but later the developer decided to port in on the PC platform. Geometry Dash is a gripping 2D platformer game. Here you will have to play as a cube. There are a lot of levels in the game. Your mission is to complete those levels without touching any spike or any other trap that will prevent you from getting to the finish line. If you touch the spike, your cube will be destroyed, and the level will be restarted. Players cannot download Geometry Dash for free, but there is Geometry Dash Lite version of the game that has a limited number of levels and skins.

How do I Play Geometry Dash?

After you start the game, you will be able to select your character. To do that, tap the “Cube” icon that is located at the left side of your screen. There you will see cubes with different textures. You will be able to select the color of your character. There are a few pages; each page allows you to change the skin of your character. For example, some levels have episodes where you will be playing as a rocket, ufo, a cursor, and you will be able to change their models.

The controls of the game are simple, but you have to perform the required moves in the correct time. If you tap on the screen too early or too late, you might lose the level. To start playing, tap the “Play” button that is located in the middle of the screen. After that, you should select the level you want to play. There are a lot of levels. Each one has different textures and style. For example, one level can have neon textures, textures of another level can look like they were made of fire, etc. 

Each level has a unique soundtrack. You will listen to it while playing. Musical effects are one of the most important parts of Geometry Dash games. Below each level, you can see a short bar, where you will be able to check your progress. 

What do I Get Buying the Full Version of Geometry Dash?

There is a number of differences between the Lite and the full version of Geometry Dash. First of all, if you purchase the full version of the game, all the advertisements are going to be removed. In addition, the game will provide players with many new levels. You can also access the “Level Editor” feature. It allows you to create new levels by placing various blocks, traps, portals, etc. In addition, the full version allows you to select many different skins. The Lite version has certain restrictions, and not all the skins are unlocked.
