Minecraft is a famous survival game where you can play in many interesting, and yet almost similar game modes. The game was developed in 2009, but the official release happened in 2011. Minecraft became popular in a short time because of unusual graphical effects and a huge world with various biomes and animals. The game is available for download for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Windows, and other popular platforms. Users can also play Minecraft with their friends.

What is Minecraft?

First of all, Minecraft is a survival game, where you can craft various objects. However, you need certain resources in order to create new things. For example, wood helps you to create a crafting table. Crafting table allows you to craft a lot of complicated objects, such as beds, fences, doors, weapons, etc. The game allows you to craft different kinds of armor. For example, you can make leather armor, iron armor, golden, and diamond types of armor. 

While playing, you will have to pay attention to what you mine or chop. For example, you can chow down trees with your bare hands, but it will be much faster with an axe. While exploring caves, you will find different kinds of blocks. You can craft stone pickaxe, but you will not be able to mine diamonds. For that, you need to have an iron pickaxe. Players can also find the redstone. It allows you to craft various mechanisms, for example, pistons, repeaters, etc.

In addition, you will not see smooth realistic graphical effects in Minecraft. The game uses cubic-styled graphical effects. Every block and animal in the game has a cubic shape. There are also a lot of biomes. Each biome has its unique trees, but, for example, in a desert, you will not be able to find any tree. However, you are able to collect sand in order to make a glass. Winter biomes allow you to collect snow. 

There are also a lot of spruce trees. You can find the regular biomes with oaks and birches. Players can also find dark forests. They consist of dark oak trees. You can also travel to Nether by creating a Nether portal. There you can find the Nether fortress and a lot more resources.

What Game Modes Can I Play?

Players can play the regular survival mode. If you die, you will respawn without your items. However, you can find the place of your death and bring all the items back. Hardcore mode allows you to die only one time. You can do the same things you do in the regular survival mode, but the game will be deleted if you die. Creative mode provides you with infinite resources. You cannot die in this mode.
